hello.
Well it has almost been a month since i last posted. I think im getting really lazy to keep updating. So yea..you can start checking my blog like every 2 weeks or something.
Rachel and Derek have been here for over a week. And Katie and aunt susan too.
Unfortunately, Aunt susan was getting really sick, and has been complaining that her medicine has been making her feel worse. Last thursday, 4 of them got back from Tioman and aunt susan was worse than ever. Following friday mroning, about 5 plus, ambulance came to the house to send her to the hospital. She was complaining to Katie that she suddenly woke up, having trouble breathing and she couldnt see. So called 911. She was in the hospital in the A&E section then got moved to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit(SICU), under dialysis, found out she had kidney failure, which was surprising because kidney failure is not a sudden thing, it happens over a period of time. And her kidney was so small that the doctors said she must have had the problem for months and maybe even a year for it to get that small. So yea..
Cool thing was that Mizan was one of her doctors so it was easy to get and update of how she was doing.
Rachel, Derek and Katie stayed from Friday evening all the way to saturday morning around 6 am. They weren't allowed to see her and she was more or less stabilized so they decided to come back and get some sleep.
Satrurday afternoon, 16th, they went to visit her again, she had been moved from SICU to the Medical ICU(MICU).
Then we got a call in the afternoon from Rachel, just before we were going for tracting with the youth that Aunt susan had passed away. When we got to the hospital(after cancelling youth) of course, sad and sorrow faces were upon Katie and Derek. Apparently her heart suddenly stopped and they tried resuscitating her but to no avail. And this is so dam sad because she was here for a holiday for about a week only. So, of course cried when uncle denesh prayed for us when we saw her body in one of the rooms in the ward at SGH. Her body will be sent back to the US asap for the funeral with her family there. It's so unbelievable that it happened. Even now i cant get it into my head that it actually happened. Her family must have been really upset because they didnt know that when she left was the last time they were going to see her (alive.) =(
So Katie has just gone back this morning for about a 25 hour flight, alone. Will miss her and her funny personality. She is really a great and funny person. Can't wait to meet her whole family at the end of the year!!!!! She said her family christmas gathering can number up to like 40 people. So we were saying that if we go, her family probably wouldn't even notice that we were there! Haha.
Yesterday was a blast! We had Fatty Weng for dinner, courtesy of uncle Terence, at my house. And everybody was there!!! Cooler thing was that that was the first time in the history of history that ALL cousins were under one roof. (On my dad's side). Was really awesome. Took some great pictures, oh yea...yesterday was a gathering for the celebration of Rachel's birthday.
Here are some pictures:

They have their similarities. =)
Adorable shot of rachel and shankar.
Sheela and I, third youngest and third oldest cousins in the family.
Long story here. My aunt is a literature tacher. And she heard i was doing a play about animal farm. She also found out i was playing the role of squealer. In the book, Squealer apparently skips from side to side as he talks. This was her impression of skipping from side to side. (Obviously the camera cant take a picture of us skipping, but we were!)
Last cousins shot. Youngest and oldest and the bottom, followed by second youngest and secong oldest. Then third youngest and third oldest, lastly, fourth youngest and fourth oldest. Just nice huh? 8 of us. =) Aren't we like the best looking bunch of cousins on earth?
Crazy shot.
Names:(From left to right, top to bottom) Sheena, Shaman, Sheela, Me, Rachel, Shankar, Jonathan and Jesse.

So yea, memorable moment of the cousins finally being under one roof for the very first time. And i bet you all are satisifed that you know who derek and rachel are. =) They are leaving soon i think. And i hope we finish our game of liverpool rummy before they do! =)
