Hello.

It's the middle of the week. But i have to blog. Because yesterday was the best.

YESTERDAY, was my birthday!!!!!!! =)
7th April 2009.

Lets start from morning.
It all started on a normal tuesday morning.

Mum gave me birthday money before i went to school.
When i reached school, i wished Ghim Hwee a happy birthday too, since we share the same birthday. It was funny. =)

Went down for councillor duty, and when i came up after assembly, i walked to my place, from the front door of teh classroom, down the row right to the back of the class where i sat. Fouzan was sitting in my seat. So I just looked at him silently asking him to please leave.
He said:"You haven't looked at the board ah?"
So i turned around, and there, in big, bubble-fonted writing, occupying 3/4 of the whiteboard read:"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHONA"
I was so embarrassed, i really didn't like it to be up there. Yong soon had drawn it and i begged to him to erase it. But he told me he wouldn't. I really begged him cause this is the first time he drew it for anyone, so I felt like people may think i want to attract attention by publicising today was my birthday. But i really wasn't. But he didn't erase it. And the class sang the birthday song. Now THAT, i really couldn't stand cause i really HATE HATE it when people sing birthday songs to me. It makes me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable and i dont know, i just really dont like it. I hate it to such an extent that I've cried while people sang to me before. That's how bad i hate it and how uncomfortable i can feel.

So it lasted through the 2 periods of english, mrs choo totally ignored it. And wrote what she needed to around it. Nobody erased it.
Then 2 periods of MT, and i begged him again to erase cause other people who dont know me may like......you know. Aiya i just really didnt want it to be there.

Then after MT, was recess, and Lindsay, Jieyi and kimberly gave me a giant plain crackers box full of things as a present. Oh, and they forced me to open it in the middle of the canteen, where everyone can see. The box consisted of:Box of chips, Dora the explorer bowl, a roll of toilet paper, and apple, an orange, one packet of plain crackers, small bottle of apple juice with 'thomas the train' packaging and a packet of instant noodles. That was their random gift, they even said it was random. So, yea, very creative. =(
Came back to class, whiteboard drawing was still there!!!!! ugh, i was so frustrated. But luckily maths teacher asked Syarif to erase it.
Then lunch time, was the best time of the day. Shuwei said she wanted to go toilet, so did i, so we went. Then she received something from her maid from the back gate and insisted that i need not follow her. So i waited like near the classroom block.
Then we walked into the canteen, passing the basketball court. And about to reach for my wallet, Shuwei turns to me and asks:"Errrr, do you like surprises?" I was like:"Doesn't everybody?" And she replied:"Uhh, we have a surprise for you ok? Uhhh, you close your eyes can?"
So i blindly followed her, her hands on my eyes, felt like an idiot walking around the canteen like that. Sorry shuwei. =)
Brought me to the table jsut outside the dental clinic, but the people who were preparing weren't ready. So i had to face the clinic and wait for my little surprise. Finally, when it was ready, as i expected, saw candles and then, THE BEST PART OF MY WHOLE BIRTHDAY, A DOUGHNUT CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like 12 chocolate doughnuts stacked up like a cake with candles on them!!! MY gosh, i was like, totally stunned and ecstaticly in shock. (if that's a word) Yea, and i begged them not to sing, they almost did, started with a few words, but i begged them not to, and they were nice enough to stop. =)
Then i made a wish, blew out the candles, which made everyone upset, cause it wasn't meant to be blown out. Ity was supposed to keep lighting up again, those magic candles. But it didn't work out. Don't worry yunling, i appreciate it. =) ALOT.
Yea, spent the whole of lunch eating doughnuts with: Shuwei, yunling, raudhah, aslinda, lindsay, kimberly, jieyi, tengkang, davin, minjie and sidney. And smearing chocolate on each other's faces.
And Lindsay and co. gave me another plain crackers box, full of more random things. THis time, consisted of: PADS, (FIRST ITEM IN THE BOX), ball cake packet, mixed nuts. Yes, mind you, i had to take out the pads in front of everyone. lol.
MY lunch was spent well. =) =) =)

After school, didnt go for CLB, begged my mum to allow me to skip it. =)
No Biology so released early.
Opened my presents then asked Arshad for help with Chemistry. I really dont know anything. Stupid mole concept.
Went for training and enjoyed it. Seniors didn't do anything to me, guess they didnt remember. haha. Good.

Went home with two big bags of presents, mainly consisting of the two plain crackers boxes.

Had pizza for dinner, oredered in. Yummy, my idea.

And that's the end of my birthday.

So many people in school wished me. People i hardly talk to wished me. But it's nice to receive wishes. 'Course it is. =)
And some people texted birthday wishes.
And had a long conversation of texting with some people. =D

That day, was truly, i have to say, the best birthday spent in my whole life. I didn't know my friends were so nice to go through so much trouble to do the surprise for me. Honestly, i didn't expect it, and ESPECIALLY DID NOT expect the doughnut cake!!! I mena, i know i've been talking about one, but really, i did NOT expect it at all!!! That's why i was so dam shocked weh i saw it.

And the gifts from my friends, includes Natalie, Hazel and Jessica too. They were all nice.

You guys have no idea how happy i am and how great you made my birthday. I am totally honest when i say it was the best birthday ever. I hope you know that i really appreciate what you guys did for me for the surprise, because I know i ddin't show my excitement very obviously, cause my shock overcame all other emotions. I never saw it coming. I really didn't. So i really want to thank them for putting in so much effort just for me, and making my day so much brighter and happier.
I'm really happy, you really made my birthday enjoyable.

Charles said he wants to go out tomorrow. Don't know if it's going to happen.
But it'll just be the four of us. Me, charles, yunling and arnold. =) Those are the best people of the group to go out with.
